I’ll spend DYCP developing my narrative writing for sequential art.
I have made work digitally that has been later translated into riso prints, and want to experiment more with print making as part of the process rather than the end result. More drawing by hand, collaging, ink making.
Animation
Experimental animation and mixed media explorationIn my film practice I have begun experimenting with animation in mixed media documentaries - I will develop my animation skills to bring characters and ideas to life and be able to tell more imaginative stories unrestrained by live-action.
With time to experiment with animation, I will move away from the documentary format and be able to make shorter more experimental fiction films that may sit in other contexts like galleries, exhibitions, and public spaces.
